November 18, Conference: Educating a New Generation of ICT Standards Professionals

Standards play an increasingly important role for Information and Communication Technologies. For this reason, the European Commission will be holding a public event to discuss the development of training programmes to support the involvement of different interest groups in ICT European standardisation.

November 20, European E-Skills Conference

The European e-Skills Conference will bring together experts from governments, academia, ICT industry, ICT professional bodies and other stake-holders.

The conference will address the crucial importance of ICT Professionalism for the EU economy and society; as well as the progress of the implementation the of e-skills strategy and projects. It will also look at the road ahead for a coordinated strategy to foster ICT professionalism, e-skills and innovation for economic recovery.
