The government scheme for the distribution of energy saving lamps has been extended by a month till the end of November.

The Resources Ministry said the extension will make up for the period when the scheme was suspended because of court action, which has since been settled.

It urged those who have not redeemed their vouchers to do so in the coming days.

The ministry said that over the past days, vouchers were sent to those who had not received their allocation.
