Two held over drugs
Two men from Tarxien, aged 22 and 26, were arrested after they were caught with heroin, cocaine and cannabis resin in San Ġwann t'Għuxa in Cospicua last Saturday.
The police said the drugs were discovered after a tip-off that the two were acting suspiciously. The drugs were found in a bag which the men threw away when they were stopped, as well as in a room in the bastions used by the two men. Some of the drug had been prepared for trafficking, the police said.
