11.30 a.m. The President is presented with a donation in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund (MCCF) from a fundraising activity by Austrian and Maltese architects.

7.30 p.m. The President and Ms Abela attend a reception hosted by Austrian Ambassador Caroline Gudenus on the occasion of Austria's National Day, at the ambassador's residence in San Pawl tat-Targa.

Tuesday
9 a.m. Ms Abela launches the Piggy Bank Campaign at San Anton school, Mgarr.

10.30 a.m. Ms Abela launches the Piggy Bank Campaign at the Girls Secondary school, Mosta.

11 a.m. The President is presented with a donation in aid of MCCF by pupils attending Skola Sajf, at the Palace, Valletta.

11.30 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from the Executive Board of the Malta Gay Rights Movement and members of the International Gay and Lesbian Association - Europe.

Noon The President receives a courtesy call from MASMOM Council members.

1 p.m. The President receives opposition Leader Joseph Muscat.

6 p.m. The President presides over the MCCF board meeting, at San Anton Palace, Attard.

Wednesday
9 a.m. Ms Abela presides over the MCCF working committee, at San Anton Palace.

9.30 a.m. The President visits the Access to Communication and Technology Unit in Hamrun.

Noon The President, accompanied by Ms Abela, receives donations collected on behalf of MCCF during L-Istrina 2008, at the Palace, Valletta.

7.30 p.m. The President and Ms Abela attend the Gieh Ghawdex award ceremony organised by the Circolo Gozitano, at Hotel Ta' Cenc, Gozo.
