BONAVIA. On October 20, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, to Josianne née Formosa and Josef, God's precious gift of a daughter - JODIE. Thanks to the obstetrician, midwives Carmen Pace and Carmen Scerri and to all the maternity staff at the hospital.

CAUCHI. On October 13, at St James Hospital, Zabbar, to Adelia née Zammit and Fabio, God's precious gift of a daughter - JULIA, a most welcome sister to Kayleigh and Juan Carlos. Thanks to San Gorg Preca. Special thanks to the obstetrician and midwife Anna Croucher.

FRENDO. On October 17, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, to Karen née Galea and Stephen, God's precious gift of a son - SEAN, a most welcome brother to Thea. Thanks to grandparents, aunties and uncles. Special thanks to the maternity staff at the hospital for all their support and care.

PEREZ. On October 15, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, to Hanadi née Souied and Jose Perez Paradis, God's precious gift of a son - DIEGO. Thanks to our family and friends for their love and support during this very special time. Special thanks to the maternity staff at the hospital.

SPITERI STAINES. On October 8, at The Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle, to Roberta née Tanti and Konrad, God's precious gift of a daughter - ABIGAIL, a most welcome sister to Andrew. Deo gratias et Mariae.

WALTZING. On October 2, at The London Hospital, London, UK, to Andrea née Pace and Paul, God's most precious gift of a first-born son - MAX PAUL. Deo gratias et Mariae.

Marriages

Mr JOSEPH PACE de GRAY and Ms STEPHANIE SPITERI
The marriage took place on Saturday, September 26, at the Capuchin Friary, Floriana, between JOSEPH, son of Joe and Dorothy Pace, and STEPHANIE, daughter of Mario and Miriam Spiteri. Nuptial Mass was concelebrated by Fr Joe Alessandro, Fr Philip Cutajar and Fr Mario Spiteri. The ceremony was witnessed by Ms Maryanne de Gray and Mrs Rachel Cini. The bride was attended by Yanika Spiteri, Etienne Spiteri and Luke Cini as pageboy. A reception was held at Palazzo Nobile, Naxxar. The couple spent their honeymoon in the US West Coast.

Requiem Masses

A Mass for the repose of the soul of IVANA RAMUNNO will be said on October 29 at 6.45 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel church, Paceville, on the second anniversary of her passing away.

Obituary

ATTARD. On October 24 at Karen Grech Hospital, NIKOLA, aged 84, of Siggiewi, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his grandchildren Nardu, Nenu, Guza, Kolina, Leli, Toni, Rita, Mario, Cikku, Maria, Tereza and Josephine, their spouses, his great-grandchildren, other rela-tives and friends. The funeral leaves Karen Grech Hospital today at 3 p.m. for Siggiewi parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment in the Siggiewi cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

GALEA. On October 23 at Mater Dei Hospital, Emanuel, aged 89, from Paola passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Carmen and her husband Edwin Ferrante, Joyce and her husband Henry Montanaro, Domnic and his wife Piera, Rose and her husband Anthony Farrugia, Madlene and her husband Reno Micallef, Jane and her husband Carmel Carabott, Miriam and her husband Louis Micallef, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

MICALLEF. On October 24 at Mater Dei Hospital, KATIE, aged 79, of Rabat, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers Carmelo, Pawlinu and his wife Eileen, Frederick and his wife Carmen, Fr Godfrey, OFM, her sister Tessie, her grandchildren and their spouses, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 3.30 p.m. for Ta' Giezu church, Rabat, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Margherita cemetery, Rabat. No flowers by request but donations to the Renal Support Group will be appreciated.
