I refer to the prices of the TV packages offered by Melita at Mater Dei. The service is a rip-off. A patient who wants to watch TV is charged either four, seven or eight euros for 24 hours - the clock starts ticking from the minute the service is bought, irrespective of whether the patient actually watches any TV in those 24 hours.

I have to stay in hospital for 15 days, so I will spend €60 euros, which is basically the Melita M home package paid for nine months at a cost of €7.76 per month. Since Melita is the only service provider in hospital, patients are not offered a choice.

Melita, please have a heart and revise your price. If you make it accessible to everyone, you will still make money.
