Law courts open for viewing

The law courts building is open for viewing today and tomorrow as part of events to mark the European Day of Civil Justice.

Visitors can tour the halls at the law courts building in Republic Street and also visit exhibitions dealing with the history of the law courts in Malta. Exhibits include historic documents on important cases, pictures of buildings which housed the law courts over the years, designs for a new law courts building, gowns, decorations and other items belonging to Malta's Chief Justices.

The law courts are open between 9.30 a.m. and 2. p.m.
