The seventh round of the Island Car Club Hillclimb Championship will be held on Sunday at Mellieħa.

The combination of close competition, large amount of entries, ranging from road legal sports cars to rally spec cars through to Formula 3s, and the challenging Ta’ Penellu circuit should attract a good crowd of motor sport enthusiasts.

Overall leader Hubert Camilleri needs only to finish fifth or better to clinch the championship. Second place seems safely within Paul Deguara’s grasp but the race for third place remains open.

The first of four runs on Sunday starts at 9 a.m.
