I fail to understand why Charles Saliba, secretary of the Soċjetà Filarmonika Pinto Banda San Sebastjan of Qormi in his letter (October 20) acts as the unsolicited representative spokesman of the police, the local council and the parish priest, the public entities targeted in my constructive criticism of July 24.

No criticism whatsoever was directed at the band club's committee.
