AVELLINO. On October 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, VINCENT, passed away peacefully, aged 79, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss, Eileen B. Sant Fournier, his children Vince Jr. and wife Vicky, Veronica, Mario and Leonard and his treasured grandchildren, his brothers Tom in Canada, Joe and Evelyn in Austalia and his sister Rita. Last but not least Rowena, Fiona and David, Hadrian and their children Jerome, Hugo, Marcus, Samuel, Alex, Zak and Martina, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for Ta' l-Ibraġġ church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

FALZON. On October 21, at Mater Dei Hospital, Emanuel, of Siġġiewi, aged 65, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Maria and her husband Nicholas Ellul, his brothers Joseph and his wife Antida, Nicholas and his wife Frances, John and his wife Margaret, Carmel and his wife Mary, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3.15 p.m. for St Nicholas church, Siggiewi, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m., followed by interment at the Siġġiewi cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

FENECH. On October 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMELO (Charlie), of Żebbuġ, residing at Floriana, former waterpolo player, aged 91, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Mary Lourdes and her husband Antonio Esposito and Yvonne and her husband Joseph Farrugia, his grandchildren Clelia and her husband Giovanni, Alberto and Valeria, Romina and her husband Eric, Liliana and Ivan and his wife Rowina, his great-grandchildren Manuel, Luca, Layla and Amy, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Publius parish church, Floriana, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at St Lawrence Cemetery, Vittoriosa. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SAID. On October 21, at Mater Dei Hospital, DORIS of Santa Luċija, aged 77, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Tony, her children Carmen, Sunny, Jane and Jacqueline, their spouses, her grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, all relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8 a.m. for Santa Luċija parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Requiem Masses

Today the 12th anniversary of the death of Fr GENNARO CAMILLERI, the 6.30 p.m. Mass at St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, will be said for the repose of his soul. The attendance of relatives, present and past members of St Gregory's C.A.Y.C., friends and parishioners will be appreciated.

Today being the 14th anniversary of the passing away of DORIS SULLIVAN, the 8.30 a.m. Mass said at St John of the Cross parish church, Ta' Xbiex, will be said for the repose of her soul. Always remembered, John and Vicky, Francis and Louise and their families.

Power Cuts

Enemalta Corporation announced there will be several power cuts today and tomorrow due to maintenance works.

There will be no power today in Farinal and Ħtajriet streets, in Mosta, between 8 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.; and in Victoria in Patri Gjaċ Camenzuli, Forin il-Bir, Ġilju, Patri Manwel Magri, Marsalforn, Mattia Preti, Kapuċċini streets and tal-Grazzja Valley between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.; and in Msida in parts of Victor Denaro, tal-Qroqq, l-Iskola, San Alwiġi, il-Magna tas-Serrar, l-Isqof Caruana, Żakkew, Ferries and Catania streets between noon and 3 p.m.

Tomorrow there will be no power in Dun Franġisk Sciberras, it-Tonn, Ġorġ Borg Olivier and part of P.P. Magri streets in Mellieħa between 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; in Xatt il-Palm and Ridott streets and their environs in Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.; and in Port Ruman, Kavalerizza, Kunċizzjoni, Sant Antnin, San Luċjan streets and parts of Arznell and Xatt is-Sajjieda streets in Marsaxlokk from 1 to 3 p.m.
