I read every now and again about the sterling work being undertaken by the missionaries in Peru.

I would like to publicly mention the work being done in this regard by Monica Vella in Norfolk Street, Sliema, who has, for many months now, opened up her doors to a sale of odds and ends in aid of these missions.

Come rain or shine, she sits and stands day in and day out, waiting to sell something to collect moneys for these people.

I admire her immensely.
