Free extra bulbs for large residences

Large residences inhabited by 10 or more people will be entitled to extra free energy-saving bulbs, Resources Minister George Pullicino said yesterday.

Mr Pullicino announced the measure during a visit to the Ursuline Creche in Sliema, a home which will benefit under the scheme. The extra bulbs will be given to volunteer-run residences such as institutes and convents.

They will be entitled to 10 bulbs for every 10 people rather than the present maximum of 10 bulbs irrespective of how many people live in the residence.
