St Julians residents' parking problems

I would like to clarify the so-called rumours referred to in the letter Consultation On Balluta Car Park Project (October 16). It is important to note that official public consultation on the Balluta car park has not started yet and I can guarantee that this will happen at the appropriate time. However, it remains the intention of the St Julians local council to submit proposals to the relevant authorities to mitigate the parking problems for the local residents particularly in the setting up of a Residents' Parking Scheme and the building of public car parks where possible.

The council will look into any proposals suggested by the residents which will help to alleviate this pressing problem. It is important to note that the focus of the council is on the local residents' problems and their solutions. Our aim is to make St Julians a better place to live and work in for our future generations.
