Maintaining the good work at Paola library

A few weeks ago the Paola public library was given a much needed facelift. This included the provision of potted flowering plants at the entrance and a watering system.

About a fortnight ago I noticed that two of these planters had been vandalised or else blown from their places and were lying around.

I visited the library the other day and was shocked to see so many of these plants strewn around. Those which were still in place were badly in need of watering.

I appeal to whoever is responsible for this library, whether the local council or Library Department, to ensure that it is adequately looked after. Otherwise it will mean money thrown down the drain.
