Man charged with child abduction over ‘lost cat’ hunt

A man has been charged with child abduction after several young girls were approached and asked to help look for a lost cat.

Craig Bradley, 30, from Lincoln, was charged with nine offences, including four counts of child abduction relating to two seven-year-old girls, one nine-year-old girl and one 10-year-old girl. The charges follow incidents in Lincoln, in Victoria Park, Bracebridge, on September 14, The Lines, behind the Manse Estate on October 5 and Dunmore Park on October 5.

Two other men, aged 30 and 42, have been arrested in relation to the incidents and released on bail. Mr Bradley is also charged with sexual assault and threats to kill in relation to the incident on September 14, common assault in relation to one of the incidents on October 5 and sexual assault and threats to kill in relation to one of the incidents on October 5.
