Archbishop Paul Cremona has made his first public appearance as part of a busy schedule after suffering a mild bout of swine flu last week.
Looking as healthy as ever, he paid a pastoral visit to Mellieħa and Selmun, where he celebrated Mass and met parishioners at the village civic centre.
Mgr Cremona was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital after complaining of chest pain during his monthly check-up but was discharged shortly afterwards, with doctors having found he had no heart-related symptoms.
Instead, he was confined indoors for a week to ride out the flu, taking the opportunity to catch up on some paperwork and reply to messages.
