The Ta’ Qali National Park is being enlarged for the fourth time, with the adventure park set for completion in December.

This will be a unique attraction, featuring fitness equipment for adults as well as plenty of space for children to play and romp around in.

Resources Minister George Pullicino said the park will have five areas for children, one multi-purpose space, and a high rope course for young adults. More features will be added next year, such as a climbing tower and a cycling and jogging track, in the adventure park as well as around the picnic area.

The equipment being installed was bought with funds donated by the American Embassy. Bank of Valletta also contributed to the financing of the project, which has a total value of €1.3 million, the minister said.

The project includes five water features, public conveniences, catering facilities and changing rooms.
