10 a.m. The President receives the committee members of the YANA (You Are Not Alone) Club on a courtesy call at the Palace, Valletta.

10.30 a.m. The President is presented with a donation in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund by Giancarlo Negri, managing director, and Dejan Knezevic, administrative manager, of Forever Living Products at the Palace.

2.30 p.m. The President and Ms Abela attend a press conference of The Malta Music Awards at the Excelsior Hotel, Floriana.

5.30 p.m. The President presides over a meeting of the Commission for the Administration of Justice at the Palace.

Tuesday

10 a.m. The President and Ms Abela welcome Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov and Zorka Parvanova at Malta International Airport.

10.30 a.m. The President and Ms Abela receive Mr Parvanov and Ms Parvanova at the Palace, Valletta.

6.25 p.m. The President attends a tree-planting ceremony by Mr Parvanov at San Anton Palace, Attard.

7.30 p.m. The President and Ms Abela host a state concert in honour of Mr Parvanov and Ms Parvanova at the Palace, Valletta.

8.30 p.m. The President and Ms Abela host a state dinner in honour of Mr Parvanov and Ms Parvanova at the Palace.

Wednesday

9.30 a.m. Ms Abela launches the Piggy Bank Campaign at Maria Assumpta Girls Secondary School, Ħamrun and De La Salle College, Vittoriosa.

10 a.m. The President visits Fun Day, organised by the Methodians Help Fund for people with disability, at the Ta' Qali Basketball Pavillion.

11.30 a.m. The President visits Dar il-Kaptan Respite Care Services in Mtarfa.

3.50 p.m. The President and Ms Abela bid farewell to Mr Parvanov and Ms Parvanova at MIA.

Thursday

9 a.m. Ms Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund working committee at San Anton Palace, Attard.

10 a.m. The President is presented with a book Large in Malta, by Peter Apap Bologna, at the Palace, Valletta.

4.45 p.m. The President receives Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Friday

8.30 a.m. Ms Abela launches the Piggy Bank Campaign at Sannat Primary School and the Bishop's Conservatory, Gozo.

7 p.m. The President presides over the Premju Anzjan tas-Sena 2009 at the Palace, Valletta.

7.30 p.m. Ms Abela inaugurates an art exhibition by Noel Attard at the Museum of Fine Arts, Valletta.

Saturday

11 a.m. The President and Ms Abela preside over the presentation of certificates to participants of the National Youth Parliament at San Anton Palace, Attard.

5 p.m. The President and Ms Abela attend a tea party by the Malta Historic Society on its 60th anniversary at Palazzo Parisio, Naxxar.
