The men's national team moved into the medals zone after beating favourites Luxembourg 4-1 on Day Two of the European squash tournament for small nations, currently underway at the Marsa Sports Club.

Bernard Bugeja, Steve Schranz, Mike Fiteni and Brad Hindle all won their respective games 3-0 with Mark Lupi adding two useful points even though he lost his match.

Today, the national team plays in the last four stage with bright prospects of finishing high on the winners' rostrum. Earlier in the week, the team had another convincing 4-1 win over Liechtenstein. The other team in competition is Monaco.

Malta Squash is assisted by Club Squash d'Elite and Vascas for this tournament.

The public is urged to attend and give support to the locals. Today, matches at Marsa Sports Club start at 3.30 p.m.
