Home Affairs Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici visited this morning and said he was always amazed at the people’s response whenever appeals for assistance were made.
Such generosity and altruism were qualities which had been synonymous with the Maltese for many generations.
The minister said that disasters in other countries highlighted the importance for civil protection resources in Malta to be always prepared in the best way for anything that might happen.
