Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajcak has reiterated the country's commitment to take a number of illegal immigrants from Malta, but no figures were established yesterday.

Mr Lajcak, who had talks with Foreign Affairs Minister Tonio Borg, reiterated his country's pledge to help Malta under the EU's pilot project for immigrants' relocation between member states.

Slovakia is so far just one of six EU states that is taking part in the project.
