Upim opens in Valletta

Michele Peresso Fashion Ltd, a member of Michele Peresso Group of Companies, has opened an Upim department store in Valletta, its second in Malta.

Measuring 967 square metres, Upim Valletta is one of the largest retail shopping centres in Valletta. The department store is divided into five sections, namely women, men, kids, home and perfumery.

The Valletta opening is part of a €6 million investment over the next years and brings its staff complement to 65.

The company said it intends to employ 36 more employees if the Valletta outlet proves to be successful.

Upim has over 175 direct stores and 210 franchises situated throughout Italy and Europe.
