Man jailed for taking drugs into disco
A Rabat man was jailed for eight months today after a court was told that he used to take drugs into a disco because he was flat broke and needed the money.
Gavin Bugeja, 27, had told the police that he used to be paid some €60 to take the drugs into a disco in Paceville. He was found in possession of 22 ecstasy pills in circumstances which denoted that the pills were not for his personal use.
Mr Bugeja was caught by the police in April 2004.
