There were power cuts in several areas across Malta today after a power station fault at 2.49 p.m.

Enemalta said a boiler at Delimara had 'tripped" causing the outage in Marsascala, Tarxien, Mellieha, Attard, Bugibba, St Paul's Bay, Sliema, Gzira, Gozo and parts of Rabat, Mosta and San Gwann.

All power was restored by 3.39 p.m.
