Archbishop suffering 'mild case of swine flu'
Archbishop Paul Cremona is suffering from a mild form of swine flu and his condition is not serious, a Curia spokesman has confirmed.
Mgr Cremona was briefly hospitalised on Saturday evening but is now resting at his home. He had cancelled all engagements for this week.
The Curia wanted to reassure the public that Mgr Cremona's condition was not heart related, after reports that he had suffered chest pains on Saturday.

@ Mr. R. Overend
The Archbishop was hospitalised over chest pains (par. 3) which led to fears that this may well indicate a heart condition, and not because of H1N1 symptoms.
Patients with serious underlying conditions (such as signs of an oncoming heart attack) cannot wait for their GP to take swabs - especially if the H1N1 symptoms are not clear at the time.

Dear Mr Sheridan,
If a person shows symptoms of swine flu he/she should not go to hospital. In the case of vulnerable people having "underlying conditions", a GP must first do a swab test. If the GP is of the opinion that the person needs treatment in hospital, the patient is transfered to the Infectious Disease Unit. The WHO & the Health Authorities made these recommendations, not me!

Dear Mr. Overand,
I couldnt keep my self from posting on this article after reading your text.
Every body has his own opinion and i respect yours but i would like to remind you that Archibishop Cremona was taken to hospital to have a check up because he was not feeling well. He didnt go to hospital to be cured because at that moment in time he knew nothing, he was just feeling ill. I think its normal people go to the hospital when they re not feeling well .. am i right?? i think you would have done the same thing. Precaution .. that's why you visit a doctor or go to the hospital. and Archibishop Cremona did the same thing. Now,that it is comfirmed he is suffering from swine flu, as the article said he is resting at his residence.
So please read all the articles well.
Thanks
Karl Sheridan.

Dear archbishop, no person suffering from swine flu symptoms should go to hospital. One should isolate himself and stay at home. The health authorities were clear about this. As a public figure, you should set an example! Get well soon.

Whilst wishing you a Speedy recovery to his Grace ..
Hope this makes the Archbishop think about Mass celebrated in churches with closed doors.
Orders should be given out so that churches' doors remain open during services and that priest take more care when visiting people going from one house to another

Your Excellency I wish you a speedy recovery, but a speedy recovery will make you face many present Church attacks!. I cannot help comparing you with the collector of portraits who had one of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. and was so disturbed because , though he straightened it every morning , the next day he found it hanging crooked. The maid explained that she had to hang it crooked to make the tower hang straight. Your Excellency I bear with you when many people in Malta try to change and twist the Church's laws to try and make their lives appear right and straight. Have courage.

Dear Mons. Paul (Archbishop of Malta),
I am quite sure that the whole of Malta and Gozo are all praying for your speedy recovery. In fact I am 100% more than sure, that the Lord Jesus Christ is with you to heal and guide you, besides giving you extra courage while you are sick. I do presume that now you are finding time as to write down some notes, coming from God for the forthcoming Charismatic Renewal Conference which is being held this month.
God do bless our Archbishop and give him all the courage to recover very quickly with your blessings. We will all be remembering our dear archbishop in our prayers. Finally, do take care and bless us all.
