Minute's Silence: A minute's silence will be held ahead of France's and Serbia's World Cup qualifiers today in memory of a Toulouse fan who died last week, French junior sports minister Rama Yade said. Brice Taton died last week after clashes between Toulouse and Partizan Belgrade fans at a Europa League game in the Serbian capital on Sept. 17.

King's Cup: Cultural Leonesa have the chance for an upset after the third tier side were drawn against holders Barcelona in the last 32 of the King's Cup. Barca claimed their 25th cup crown in May, beating Athletic Bilbao 4-1 in the final, on their way to a treble of titles that included the league and Champions League. Real Madrid were also pitched against a third tier side, Alcorcon.

Taylor: Wycombe have con-firmed that manager Peter Taylor has left the League One club by mutual consent. The former England U-21 manager, 56, guided the Chairboys to promotion from League Two last season at the first attempt but has paid the price for a poor start to the season.

Barmes: Tranmere sacked manager John Barnes and his assistant Jason McAteer. The duo took charge at Prenton Park in June, but a run of just two league wins from 11 matches has left Rovers languishing 22nd in League One. Physio Les Parry has been placed in temporary charge.

UEFA U-21: Serbia vs Cyprus 2-0; Finland vs Holland 0-1; Greece vs Portugal 2-1; England vs Macedonia 6-3.

League One: Hartlepool vs Brentford 0-0; Southend vs Southampton 1-3.
