Labour has a lot to thank Nationalists for
Joseph Muscat said that Labour does not mind University, Mcast, factories, manual workers or professional etc.
May I remind Dr Muscat that Labour had imposed a numerus clauses on University entries and closed down Mcast. If it were not for the Nationalist government's vision and generosity we would not have 15,000 students benefiting from a stipend to pursue their studies and Dr Muscat would have nowhere to go.
Neither would he have been able to visit our factories had we heeded Labour's advice.
Lest we forget, first a Labour government withdrew our application to join the EU then, when in the Opposition, Labour's leader embarked on a misfortune-telling exercise warning factory owners that they would all fold if we were to join the EU.
If Labour had had its way then Dr Muscat would have no one to visit.

Don't know how old is Mr.Sammut! But let me remind him that It was under labour Governments that school was made obligatory to all children!! And I remember well the saying that " If you parents send your children to school-----they will loose their souls"!!!!!!!!!.Before Labour times,only those who were well off could send thier children to school!! So I feel obliged to say a big thanks to old labour Goverments,who built primary schools all around Malta (1955----1958, Minister of education was the unforgettable Hon.Agatha Barbara and Prime Minister Dom.Mintoff) for workers class children!!

I consider our both main political parties in Malta as full of many NUTS and BOLTS and may I add many SCREWS. There are many NUTS in each party which are useless when working alone, and there are many BOLTS in each party which( who) seldom and cannot generate any strong forces when working all alone as individuals. A NUT within any political party needs a BOLT within the same, or within the other party, to produce a useful force, even if he(it) acts as its SHADOW.
As far as SCREWS in each party, a screw can achieve a driving force when working alone especially if it is of the self tapping type( phyllips, straight of star type), but as far as conventional NUTS and BOLTS in both parties, be they metric, witworth, or fine, they need each other to be any use to us!!!!!!

No to EU, No to Referendum, er sorry, Yes to EU, "I know I lost the referendum but I still won it" ... oh forget the past! I am the EU cempjin!
Joseph Muscat is rapidly gaining the reputation of being the most perfect political paradox that Malta has ever entertained. His party, a confused conflicting concoction of opposing forces and personalities, is not less nominated to being the home of the lost sheep, the wandering sheep and the black sheep lured into an ancient den of wolves hiding behind a mascot.

@George Sammut
Labour DID NOT CLOSE DOWN MCAST! Labour government wanted mcast to be the same level as a University. May I also remind you that MCAST is formed by Institutes that were opened under a Labour government organised as one college named MCAST.
Under the Nationalist Government new courses were introduced but do not try to take all the merit by telling lies.
