CARUANA. On October 3. MARY, née Scerri, aged 100, widow of Walter, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Jacqueline and her husband Louis Busuttil, Marian, widow of Joe Paris, Henry and his wife Rosanna, Joan, her grandchildren and their families, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 2.30 p.m. at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema. SCERRI. On October 4, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMEN, (ex-teacher), 88 of Rabat, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Mary, Bice, Vivie, Georgina and her husband Frank Vella, her brother Paul and his wife Anne, Frances widow of her brother Anthony, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral will leave Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.30 p.m. for St Paul’s collegiate church, Rabat where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at St Margaret Cemetery, Rabat.
