Women entering Bay Street over the weekend were urged to become more aware of breast cancer by the Breast Care Support Group Europa Donna. They were given reading material about how to take care of their breasts. Leaflets were also handed out by Nadine Delicata, the coordinator of the national breast screening programme which is expected to kick off this month. The programme targets women in their 50s. Despite the information available about breast cancer, support group president Gertrude Abela said not everyone was aware of the risks.
