Updated: Three men charged with drug trafficking

Three men were this morning granted bail against a personal guarantee of €8,000 and a deposit of €2,000 each after pleading not guilty to drug possession.

Andre Falzon, 22 of Qawra and Sean Farrugia, 20 of Birkirkara were charged with conspiring to traffic cannabis and to trafficking cocaine. They were also chargted with the possession of the two drugs, that of cannabis in circumstances denoting it was not for personal use.

Mr Farrugia was also accused of cannabis trafficking while Mr Falzon was accused of relapsing.

David Bajada, 20, of Naxxar was charged with the trafficking, cultivation and possession of cannabis. He was also charged wiht the possession and trafficking of 240 grammes of heroin.
