Robert Arrigo insists he would never contemplate crossing the floor, despite being one of the most outspoken Nationalist backbenchers.
Denying that he is a disgruntled politician, the popular Sliema MP says it was only some "foul-mouthed" people who were giving the impression he was prepared to switch his allegiances to the Labour Party if he were not given a Cabinet post.
While he expresses his disappointment at the way backbenchers are being treated, he makes it clear he expects ministers to heed his concerns on any laws.
Mr Arrigo also rebuts claims he "bought" any votes prior to the last election, expresses his views on Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi and explains his strategy of backing certain local council candidates.
