A Togolese living at the Ħal Far open centre was yesterday sentenced to one month imprisonment after pleading guilty to attempting to leave Malta with someone else's passport.

Idris Ibrahim Sadik, 26, was charged with using an Italian travel document and a residence permit issued to Yussif Sadiq. He pleaded guilty.
