The Malta Bible Society is holding seven new courses on the Bible and a one-day seminar. The aim is to help participants gain a better understanding of the Bible.

The courses cover a wide variety of subjects to reach people with different interests.

The programme includes short courses, to be held between this month and December and other courses spread over one or three years. Morning and evening sessions will be held to accommodate all needs.

The courses will be delivered in Maltese and anyone can attend.

The courses are: Niskopru l-Qalb ta' Alla fl-Iskrittura (Biblical Spirituality); Il-Ktieb tal-Ġenesi filgħodu (The Book of Genesis, morning session); Għalfejn inbatu? Il-Ktieb ta' Ġob (The Book of Job); Il-Ktieb tal-Ġenesi (The Book of Genesis, evening session); L-Erba' Evanġelji (Kors ta' Sena) (The Four Gospels - a one-year course); Kors il-Latin fil-Bibbja (Latin for the Bible - a one-year course); and Kors Bibliku mifrux fuq tliet snin (a three-year Bible course). The seminar is themed 'Isaiah - Preparing ourselves for Advent'.

The courses will be held at the conference hall of the Malta Bible Society at 51 Triq il-Miratur, Floriana. Courses include a break with refreshments.
