The Armed Forces of Malta will be acquiring another aircraft which will be fully equipped for border patrol and search and rescue operations.

The AFM yesterday announced that aeronautics company Aerodata has been entrusted with the project after a competitive process and will supply it with a KingAir B200.

The aircraft will be mounted with a radar and equipped with an infrared system, among its many other sensors and communication equipment.
