Complementing the article: University: Cocktails, Condoms And A World-Renowned Scientist (October 1), was a picture of first-year students, known as Freshers, possibly mixing around to grab their first experience at this institution.

What caught my attention in the picture was a young female student wearing what looked like denim shorts.

Am I to understand that there exists no dress code for University and Junior College students?

I am putting this question as very often I come across young girls on their way to these institutions wearing low cut tops, miniskirts and low rise jeans showing off unsightly tattoos.
