The Gozo Channel ferries are not the only things that need to be safe for the Maltese public. The Qormi/Marsa floodwater channel was heavily obstructed with debris, loose trees and branches around the 12 columns, under the Albert Town Bridge. Are we to have a repeat of the 2003 floods? Where are the health and safety personnel and the Civil Protection Department? I repeat "Protection" not "Salvage Unit" nor "Rescue Unit".
