CASSAR. On September 28, in Medina, Ohio, USA, MARIE ANTOINETTE, aged 67, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved sons and their wives, Simon and Melissa, Bernard and Courtney, Daniel and Kristen, Matthew and Lauren, their father Sonny Cesareo, her seven grandchildren, her brothers and sisters Mary Ann, Emanuel and his wife Gladys, Carmen Desira, Michael and his wife Rosalyn, Joseph and his wife Tanja, Victoria and her husband George Muscat, their respective families, and other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held in Ohio tomorrow. A memorial Mass will be held tomorrow at 4 p.m. at Fatima Sanctuary, Guardamangia.

Lord, grant her eternal rest.

A bazaar is being held next door to Stella Maris parish centre, 49, Cathedral Street, Sliema, from October 7 to October 10. Open all day from 9.30 a.m.

Sailor's donations

The Vikings Sailing Club has donated €2,000 to St Clare’s Monastery. The money was collected during a marathon on August 22 and 23 when two young sailors, Paul Portanier and Daniel Fenech, sailed for 32 consecutive hours.
