Computer Domain Ltd filed a judicial protest against the chairman of the Public Contracts Appeals Board Alfred Triganza and members Anthony Pavia and Edwin Muscat.
The company said it had participated in a tender for the provision of ICT training programmes on behalf of MCAST.
Three companies had been disqualified because they were not certified as accessible by the National Commission for Persons with a Disability.
Computer Domain said two of the disqualified companies - Future Focus Ltd and St Martin’s Education Services Ltd appealed to the director of contracts objecting to the fact that they were not certified accessible.
During the hearing the chairman made a series of remarks and created a dangerous precedent because the committee acted as an appeals board to a decision by the National Commission for Persons with a Disability.
Computers Domain claimed that it had invested thousands to satisfy the accessibility criteria.
