Golden Harvest adopts Green Dot

Golden Harvest will be featuring the ‘Green Dot’ symbol on the packaging of its extensive range of bakery and confectionery products.

The company is the latest in a long line of over 300 Maltese companies to put the internationally famous symbol on its products.

Golden Harvest Mfg. Co. Ltd is a family-run company that started out in 1946 as a small traditional bakery in Floriana. Last year, the organisation’s 60th year, Golden Harvest transferred all its operations to a new 14,500-square-metre plant at San Ġwann Industrial Estate.

In Europe, the Green Dot is used by more than 130,000 companies encompassing 460 billion packages.

Green Dot Malta Ltd issues the licence for the use of the mark in Malta. The company also operates the Green Pak Scheme.
