Any person's life can become a major motion picture. Anyone who lives his or her life rightfully can be the subject of an exciting story and a touching drama. Anyone who lives simply and unassumingly, avoiding passing on his or her problems to others just for the sake of it or merely to feel better, can do it, he or she can be a leading light, a star.
The question is: What is there to say about the life of an ordinary person who lived a normal life within a normal family and in common circumstances? When we think of our auntie Marie all this comes to our mind. Then such a life becomes extraordinary, such a person exceptional.
She was joyful, kind and generous. She was strong, yet, possessed a profound sense of compassion. She was talented (we all loved her cooking and flower arrangements), candid and, above all, she was a woman of faith.
We would like to mention all the moments of laughter and joy, all the moments of concern but, even when things turned out really unfortunate, she always knew how to smile and faced adversity bravely. So we must thank this special kind-hearted woman whose life could fit so well into a Roberto Benigni's film where love and simplicity are so beautifully celebrated.
We miss you dear auntie Marie. Till we meet again...
