A man from Qormi was yesterday jailed for 34 months after pleading guilty to trafficking heroin within 100 metres from a place frequented by youth in May.

Victor Fenech, 34, admitted to being in possession of 14 grammes of heroin, which were found in circumstances denoting it was not for his personal use. He admitted that the drug was ready to be sold.
