The letter by George Borg Cardona on the subject of queues outside a bank (September 9) was true and factual. However, the locality mentioned was not the only one as in Paola we suffer the same disrespect by the same bank.
Normally, in the Paola branch there are never three cashiers. There are two and sometimes one.
Inside the bank there is room for 12 to be served and in the ante-room, before the actual bank entrance, there is room for another six. Why are these not being made available for those waiting to be served?
Many are left outside in rain or shine. Respect is only for those inside.
