5.30 p.m. The President presides over a meeting of the Commission for the Administration of Justice, at the Palace, Valletta.

11 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from Aaron Ciantar, World Champion Powerboats P1 Super Sports, accompanied by Reuben Caruana and Teddie Borg, president of the Malta Powerboat Federation, at the Palace, Valletta.
11.30 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from members of the Senglea nursery, at the Palace, Valletta.
Noon. The President presides over the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed Judge Michael Mallia, Magistrate Gabriella Vella and Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit, at the Palace, Valletta.
8 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend a reception for the outgoing Commanding Officer of the Italian Military Mission, Col Giovanni Ormetti, at the Corinthia Palace, Attard.

10 a.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend Mass on the occasion of the 100th birthday of Mrs Jane Dimech, at San Vincenz de Paule Residence.
11.45 a.m. The President visits the new premises of Computer Domain Ltd in Constitution Street, Mosta.
8 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend a reception hosted by Chinese Ambassador Zhang Keyuan on the occasion of the national day of China, at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, Floriana.

9 a.m. Mrs Abela presides over a Malta Community Chest Fund working committee meeting at San Anton Palace.
9 a.m. The President attends Mass on the occasion of the opening of the Forensic Year organised by the Chamber of Advocates, at St John's Co-Cathedral, Valletta.
10.30 a.m. The President attends the opening of the Forensic Year ceremony, at the Law Courts, Valletta.
11.30 a.m. The President inaugurates the new Business Centre at the Law Courts, Valletta.
Friday
10 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from the European Affairs Committee of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, at the Palace, Valletta.
