• The Mission Fund is holding a grand bazaar at 27, St Margaret Street, Mosta, between tomorrow and Wednesday from 9 a.m. till 12.30 p.m. All are invited to attend.

• A day-long adoration is being held on Thursday at the Archbishop's Seminary, Tal-Virtù, Rabat, to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. It will start will Mass at 9.30 a.m. followed by adoration for the rest of the day. The seminarians will join at 6.30 p.m. and another Mass at 7.15 p.m. will conclude the day of prayer. Individuals and groups are welcome to attend.

• The Breast Care Support Group ED will be organising a public talk entitled 'Life after breast cancer' at the National Council of Women premises in Blata l-Bajda on Friday at 6.30 p.m. The group will also be organising two days of breast cancer awareness and nutrition information at Baystreet, St Julian's, on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. till 8 p.m. For more information call 9999 4666.

• The next Mir prayer meeting, consisting of the rosary, Mass and adoration, will take place on Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. at Capuchins church, Floriana. Priests will be available to hear confessions. Those attending are asked to bring a food for Fondazzjoni Suret il-Bniedem, which cares for homeless people. • An adoration and Mass as reparation for offences committed during the time of the full moon will be held at St Francis church, Birkirkara, on Sunday from 2 p.m.

• A series of nine lectures on the Christian values lived by St Anthony of Padova will be delivered by Franciscan Fathers every Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. starting on October 6, at St Francis centre, Quarries Street, Hamrun, organised by St Francis Prayer Group. • The International Al Jolson Society is holding its annual gathering at the Augustinian Oratory Dun Gwann Mamo, in Manuel Buhagiar Street, Tarxien, on October 11 at 4 p.m. Rose of Washington Square and Jolson Sings Again will be shown on a big screen.
