Karta Converters will be using the internationally recognised Green Dot symbol on its paper, carton and plastic products, the company said on Friday.

Its use of the Green Dot mark as a commitment of environmental compliance follows an agreement reached with Green Dot Malta Ltd. Karta Converters now joins some 300 other companies that participate in the Green Pak Scheme for the recycling of packaging.

Green Dot Malta Ltd, a member of Pro Europe, the Brussels-based international organisation for packaging waste recovery, is the exclusive sub-licensee of the mark in Malta.
