Upim to open department store in Valletta
Upim, the Italian retail chain, is to open a seven-storey department store in Valletta next week. The chain, represented in Malta by Michele Peresso, opened a store at the Duke Complex in Gozo in March. The Maltese company had said at the time it would invest €6 million on the opening of four Upim stores in Malta and Gozo.
The new department store will be housed in the former Clamus building in Melta Street.
