When asked whether he planned to reduce the highest income tax band from 35 per cent to 25 per cent, Finance Minister Tonio Fenech said that he wasn't willing to take "gamblish decisions". Does this automatically make the PN's promise, which in Lawrence Gonzi's own words was given to fight against the "black clouds on the horizon", a "gamblish promise"?

Is it not very sad that what was good for an ailing economy a year ago is horribly irresponsible now?

How stupid and forgetful does Mr Fenech and the whole GonziPN coterie think we are exactly? Why is it that what was good before the election has become a gamble now?
