Hotel occupancy in July went down by 10.1 percentage points when compared to the corresponding month last year to stand at 72.3 percent the NSO said today.

Arrivals totalled 126,151. Total nights spent in collective accommodation establishments were recorded at 887,722, a decrease of 12.6 percent over the corresponding month in 2008, with the largest drops being registered in the 4-star and 3-star hotel categories. The average length of stay stood at 7.0 nights.
