The MFA Appeals Board will convene tomorrow to hear the complaint lodged by Marsaxlokk FC against the decision taken by the Board to Investigate Corrupt Practices earlier this month to throw the southern club out of the Premier League.

Marsaxlokk lost their status in the top flight after being found guilty at the end of a protracted case, of a match-fixing attempt in a championship match late last year.

The Premier League is set to resume on Friday after almost four weeks of inactivity following the MFA council's decision to suspend the championship until the two cases involving Vittoriosa Stars and Marsaxlokk were concluded by the Board to Investigate Corrupt Practices.

Vittoriosa, who were also demoted to Division One, had their appeal turned down last week.
