Malta to host WHO regional meeting

The World Health Organisation will be holding its European regional committee meeting in Malta in 2012 after the government's request was accepted by the region's 53 member states. This is the first time Malta made a request to host the annual meeting, which was held last week in Copenhagen.

The regional committee brings together the 53 European countries to discuss health issues and policies to be adopted in the region's health sector.
